At Rye Bakery we focus our menu around seasonality and quality produce from farmers that share our values.  On the Somerset/Wiltshire border Frome is deep in dairy farming land, we try to champion the best products from our local area such as Westcombe, Godminster, Hurdlebrook and Ivy House and sheep and goat milk products from Wookey Farm and  Homewood Cheeses. 

Although much of our menu is focused around bread and pizza, we also try to serve grain-free options with produce that represents the kind of ecologically minded farming we admire.  Since the beginning we have always kept English pulses, peas and beans on the menu.  We try to serve mainly wild meat such as venison and rabbit and any farmed meat we use is at the very least high welfare and where possible organic.

We always have seasonal plant based and vegan dishes on offer at Rye and when fruit isn't in season we use frozen British fruit harvested at its best.
